Membership Challenge

Join the CCCK-8 PTSA and your child’s classroom could win an ice cream party!  The classroom with the highest percentage of memberships by Sept 30 will win!  Your membership makes it possible for us to support classroom enrichment and fund a para-professional to help our teachers.  As a member, you also have a voice in how we prioritize what we are working on and how we spend our funds in a year.  For more information, see the attached flyer or contact Tami Lawson,  We appreciate your support!

Help Wanted:
Reflections Chair or Co-Chair
Do you love to be creative?  Do you want to inspire our students to make their own creative original works?  National PTA annually sponsors the Reflections program to do just that.  This year, the theme is:

Students are encouraged to create their own original work inspired by this theme, and then submit it for competition.  Categories of submission are: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.  As Chair or Co-Chair, you would organize our school’s participation in this event, by encouraging student participation, scheduling afterschool workshop time, collecting the submissions, and setting up the judges and evaluation, and sending our school’s winning pieces on to the next level competitions.  For more information and deadlines, please visit the Jeffco website:  This volunteer opportunity is very short term (active in the fall) and for those energized by creativity.  Please contact Jody Dickson,, if you are interested.
